Some hobbyists who did it the OLD S'CooL way :

'87 Honda XR600R - customer: Mark, Calif... Sept 2003, see PIC
This bike was a rust bucket from the beaches of Baja in need of a thorough going through. Eric tore it down and put
over 75 hours into blasting, scraping and straightening parts, replacing broken parts, testing and cleaning useable
parts, upgrading sub-par parts, acquiring smokin nice new cosmetic parts, painting everything, putting it all back
together with care, replacing all fluids, testing it to his high standards, and documented it all! Even though its just a
thumper, not a smoker, its as solid as a rock now and my favorite bike to ride. Thanks Eric!

'81 Yamaha YZ125H - customer: Jonathan, FL... Aug 2005, see PIC
Eric,
I have had my '81 YZ125H back from OLD S'CooL, a Stage-2 restoration for about 2 months now. I believe I got a great
bargain on the work you performed as everyone that has seen the bike considers it to be your Stage-3 classification!
The bike is so close to showroom both cosmetically and mechanically. At the recent awards ceremony and bike show for
the 2005 FLVMX season, my new YZ won first prize for the crowds "Most Popular Choice". I originally intended on riding
this bike on special occasions to re-live my days when I raced my original 1981 YZ125 back in the day. Whenever I
endeavor to possibly ride this bike I am quickly confronted by other FLVMX club members telling me what a fool I would
be to ride this perfect bike! As you are aware I also have the '81 YZ250H and 465H that I currently race, these bikes
should help me control the urge.

I immensley enjoyed working with Eric throughout the entire project. Your attention to detail is beyond anal stage (this is
a compliment!). I have and will continue to recommend your services to all my fellow Vintage and Evo riders. I am sure
you will work on another project of mine in the future, perhaps my 250. Lets stay in touch. Best regards, Jonathan.

'81 Yamaha YZ250H - customer: Mark, Calif... Feb 2005, see PIC

This model was my favorite race bike that I originally lost to the "great shed fire of '95". Eric helped me find one in fair
original shape. I bought it and he proceeded to take it from a dusty garage stored and forgotten to a factory level
smoker. As he did with the XR600R, he tore it apart then rebuilt the whole bike using precision techniques with attention
given to style and performance. Its better than my first original bike and I know I can trust that every part of it was
evaluated, decided upon and either applied or discarded and replaced the entire duration of the build process
personally by Eric. Thanks again!

'83 Maico 490's - customer: Richard, FL... Nov 2006, see PIC1 - PIC2

I would like to personally and publically thank Eric at OLD S'CooL MX Restorations. I did a great deal of research before
choosing Eric for some restoration projects I have wanted to do for many years. His reputation, knowledge and attention
to detail are what made the choice easy. My projects were two 1983 490 Maico's and they were a challenge. Eric worked
tirelessly making new connections, tracking down parts and specialty shops to do a total restoration on my machines. It
took a lot of logistics including transporting these bikes from Florida to California and back but all went very smoothly
thanks to Eric's hands on approach. Communication, prices and work quality are the best available, this is how a
business should be done! I look forward to many years of enjoyment and appreciation of my bikes and cant wait for our
next project. Thanks again, Richard.
